ABOUT
With a Master’s degree in counseling, combined with over 17 years of experience in career services at Dartmouth College, I’ve supported thousands of people with their career journeys across a variety of industries.
I’ve reviewed and refined countless résumés, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles, ensuring the most relevant skills are highlighted, and materials are targeted to each employer and position. Beyond the materials, understanding yourself is critical in finding your best fit career. My mindfulness and strategic approach will allow us to examine your values, strengths, and thoughts patterns in order to achieve success.
I believe part of finding your connected career is to be a leader in your own life, and that most of us need guidance to bring out our best selves. Supporting and advocating for human beings as they learn and grow inspires me. I will meet you where you are in your journey, and help you to unlock any barriers in order to move forward with your career and life.

— Surabhi Grover, Product Manager, Google
"Jen was my career coach and a source of encouragement throughout my Master’s degree at Dartmouth. Jen helped me set the right targets, worked with me on countless résumés and cover letters, introduced me to the right contacts in the industry, and helped me prepare by doing a number of mock interviews.
I also loved how her technique to career coaching just works - She met with me every week, cheering me up on the setbacks, and encouraging me towards my goals. In our weekly sessions, we discussed the progress I made in the last week, any networking meetings I had, and often did a mock interview. She then provided feedback on how I could have done better in each of those. Her feedback was kind, yet specific, and she made every setback feel like a learning experience.
I received several offers, including one from Google where I currently work, and I could not have done it without Jen! I am very glad I found her, and wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone who's looking for a new job or career path."

“Jen proved to be an incredibly important and valuable resource during my job search. She sat next to me day after day running over mock interview questions and helping me tailor countless versions of CVs and cover letters for prospective employers. Her detail oriented and discerning eye helped me pick apart every single word.
Beyond the technicalities, she was also a confidant and a friend. Jen could sense when I was putting too much pressure on myself and would advise me to take a break, reassuring me that what I was doing was enough. She would stick her neck out and put me in touch with her connections. She advised and celebrated with me when I got my first job offer.
If you need someone to look over your resume, cover letter or run through a mock interview, Jen can certainly do that for you. And, if you need someone who is in your corner during the inevitably complicated and difficult journey of a job search, Jen is your person.”

“Jen is a kind and compassionate career counselor with high integrity. I approached Jen when I needed to get my first job post my Master’s degree at Dartmouth.
Jen's input on enhancing my résumé enabled me to effectively bring down my 4 page resume to 1 page. She helped me convey in my resume the impact my experiences had created and the value I strived to provide at my next job. Jen's tips on networking, writing thank you letters, and crafting cover letters were all very effective especially for an international student like me who was not aware of the career landscape and strategies for the job market in the US. Jen also coached me in evaluating job offers and helping me think through the right job for me.
I would highly recommend Jen if you would like to transition into a career that you love and are proud of.”
